I tried this recipe and my friends all liked it - they also appreciated the blackberry and pomegranate seeds, so definitely try find them and put them in there to make your sangria special. Enjoy!

Great recipe. It was a big hit for my Xmas party. The reviews were correct - it is strong and after a few glasses, people were commenting that they were woosey. I followed the suggestion of a previous post, made two batches, and stored each batch in a large two gallon food storage bag. It worked out great. Also, did not put the citrus in until the day of party and then removed citrus from the leftovers - to avoid any sour taste. The remaining fruit was delicious. Would highly recommend.

First time making Sangria. It was a hit with the family. Everyone kept on going back for more. Potent and excellent. Made no changes to the recipe. Can't wait to make it again.

Love this recipe! First sangria recipe I ever tried and everyone LOVES it/asks for the recipe/ requests it again and again I have never made another! Only change I make is instead of doing Spanish red wine I use Sweet Red Wine (Barefoot and skip the sugar/simple syrup. It's perfect year round!

Definately, let it sit for a day. The difference is amazing. I did not use pomogranate seeds and use 1/2 cup of brandy and 1/2 cup of Chambord. I have been looking for a Sangria for sooooo long and finally found it. Thanks!

I've been sticking with my own sangria recipe for many years and finally branched out with Bobby Flay's and it was killer. Amazingly tasty and powerful and there's a lot of it.
Those with gout: you've been warned.

This recipe was easy to follow, simple to make, and tasted DELICOUS. I followed the recipe verbatim, and used Tempranillo wine. I served it at a party and everyone loved it. I will certainly be making this again in the future.

I love this sangria!! I took this to a party and it was a huge hit. I only made a few modifications. I used lite pomegrante juice and didn't add the pomegrante seeds (the store was out. I used fresh squeezed orange juice and Hennessy Cognac for the brandy. I used tempranillo as another reviewer suggested. This was truely fantastic and I will be making it again.

Favorite new beverage !!!!! I make it with a red zin I had on hand and only other deviations were no pomegranate juice/seeds and subbed Grand Marnier for triple sec because it's what I had and it is delish! First time I made it was for a dinner party and then a made it few weeks later to keep in my fridge as a summer refreshing alternative to having a glass (or two of red wine in the evening. When I finished that batch I reused the fruit in the pitcher and added liquid ingredients to make another half batch.

Best Sangria EVER! I left out the Pomergranate seeds. Not for the light weights; one glass will give you quite the buzzz. For a lighter version I would add a little less brandy. I brought it to a party and people were asking for more!
