    We had never like brussel sprouts, until I served this recipe at a family get-together. Now we all love them, to the point my grown son has requested them as one of his all-time favorites for his upcoming birthday dinner! Amazing!

    I have always liked brussels sprouts, but my fiance has not. We saw this recipe on TV, and had to try it. Brussels sprouts have never tasted so good! It was really easy to make (I left out the shallots and used red potatoes instead of Yukon golds and bacon instead of pancetta, and I served it with scrambled eggs made with ricotta and cheddar. The sweetness of the brussels sprouts, mixed with the salt of the bacon and the tartness of the lemon juice (that's the "secret ingredient" of this one! was amazing.

    We really enjoyed the variety of flavors in this dish. The only issue I had was my brussel sprouts disintegrated! I checked the status of the potatoes but it must have cooked too long! We still enjoyed it and it complimented our other dishes.

    I made this for my family on Christmas eve and we all loved it. Made it again last night , but didn't have enough sprouts so I threw a few pearl onions in .

    I do NOT like Brussel Sprouts as a rule. This was actually a good recipe. I added garlic when I cooked the onions but stayed with the recipe other than that.

    I made this for Thanksgiving without the potatoes since mashed potatoes would be a side dish at the dinner. I added roasted pine nuts as the last step. There was no roast time so I checked a Barefoot Contessa recipe and roasted them for 45 minutes. It was fantastic!! Everyone loved it and they want me to make it for Christmas.

    This is such a wonderful recipe. All of the ingredients just seemed to blend so well together. The lemon juice squeezed on top added a certain "freshness" to the brussel sprouts and finished the recipe out. Next time I will use only half the amount of pancetta. This recipe is definitely a keeper in our household!!!
