First, This recipe makes a LOT. I used a 4 lb lamb and that was 2x too much or more for 7 adults. I also have a whole vat of baste left over. I didn't think the baste was great, i would have probably preferred just an apricot jam instead and would have been easier to make. overall, the dish was pretty good (if you put all the ingredients together in the taco, but not as excellent as i had hoped from the reviews. I won't be making the lamb/baste again.

The apricot-Chipotle baste is the best ever. It makes your mouth water while it is cooking and then you crave it more and more as you are eating it for the sweet of the apricots, the acid of the vinegar and the spice of the chipotles. It is also great on pork. Try it. It Rocks.

As most are skeptical as I was about apricots and lamb, I quickly got over it after I tried this recipe! The perfect blend of spices! If you follow the recipe as Flay lays it out, months later you will have people still tell you how great dinner was.
Flay finally brought back flavor to the world...Thanks Flay!

This recipe is really delicious. It does take a good chunk of time, but definitely worth it. People who ate it still talked about it months later.

I have used this glaze for many different occasions on many different meats. The favorites are pork ribs and chicken. A must try and is easy to make.

Family and friends loved this recipe. Only suggestions would be to halve the salsa recipe or don't use at all. Tacos with a little extra glaze, goat cheese, romaine and guacamole were perfect, the salsa overkill, we used as a dip AND in tacos and still had mountains leftover.
