Made this by the gallons for a big christmas party...big hit! It's a bit sweet but only a couple of people thought so...don't change the recipe, it's really good! Will become a staple at our parties year-round! Oh, and I used 1.5 cups dark rum and 1.5 cups light rum for each batch, worked great..cheap rum, too!

All I have to say is OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not a girly drink kind of girl, but this is a party must have. You can't even taste the alcohol. This is so fresh and tasty ! Thanks Bobby Flay

Well, Bobby, I cheated and used Realime, bottled orange juice and canned pineapple juice along with Cruzan Light Rum and Cruzan Dark Rum. I had this stuff. We arrived home from Sandals Negril yesterday and their punch is spot on yours! Outstanding! I have tried for a couple of years to duplicate the stuff from Jamaica and this does the trick. I can't imagine how good this would be as you stated it using fresh stuff. Thanks from Kansas...

Very simple to make, very easy to remember, can be made ahead of time and re-shake once ready to serve. Next time, I'm gonna skip the Jamaican White Rum, I wasn't impressed tasting the Jamaican White Rum by itself, so I'll use either spiced rum or double the Light Rum. Regardless, I'm gonna spread the word on this one.

I made this and cut the grenadine in half as suggested by others and it was terrible. It was a waste of alot of Rum!

I was looking for a recipe that mimicked the boat drinks I've had in the Caribbean. This comes very close. I added Malibu rum to give the drink a coconut flavor.

Normally, I don't take anyone's time to enter review/comment re: beverages. Not this recipe. Thanks Bobby. The use of rum plus other ingredients made 700 people at my granddaughter's college graduation an unexpected success.... I read all other reviews prior to this of mine. Some comments stated your recipe was too sweet, too strong, etc. I admire and reinforce your skills. Any person using one of your recipes for guests IS RESPONSIBLE to first make and taste. If the person/cook does not like ...in this comment YOUR RECIPE PRODUCT...they are responsible for their own skills and tasting abilities. For myself, I watch your show, I down load your recipe then make and taste. If everything is wonderful, I make your recipes for others. Thanks Bobby

The only thing I did different was use Grace Strawberry Syrup (this is what we use in Jamaica instead of grenadine and took out the orange juice. IT is strong and delicious! Good Job Bobby Flay.

Easy and tasty! I actually only had a 12 oz bottle of grenadine, but I think it was for the best because it might have been too sweet otherwise. Be sure to use fresh limes, and I even put some lime zest in there for extra lime. I served it in glass pitchers with orange slices and put a bottle of seltzer water next to it (for people who wanted to dilute and each bottle of rum, in case anyone wanted it extra spiked.
