OMG, wow! The beans were incredible, full of flavor, the bacon, the onions and poblano combination was like nothing I've ever tasted. The tomato relish was a symphony of flavor, starting with the garlic, red onion, and with the pop of the tomato at the end, what a joy! The tri-tip flavor was great. Unfortunately, if the cut I used had alot more fat marbleing in it, I'm sure it would have been more tender. Not taking away from the flavor, I'll make sure to get better marbleing in the beef. Otherwise, what a joy this dish was! I will definitely do this one again!!!!!!

I too would like more info on the hand cranked grill. Great way to control the heat. I have seen one similar at BBQ Galore where the grate moved up and down.

That was really close to the real thing, but the bread needs to be San Luis Obispo Sourdough.
I'd like to see a review of the equipment used or at least the listing in the subtitles after the show also.

Yes, please, provide info on that grill. Is it commercially available or built to order? If built to order, are there plans available for it? What a great piece of equipment.
