So frickin tasty!!!! I've been making the same delicious tacos forever and this was such a nice change. At first taste after I blended the salsa I thought it might be a little to spicy but after mixing it with the chicken and cheese it was perfect. I skipped the tortilla and went light on the cheese for dieting reasons, so I can't wait to try it the way it was meant in a couple months.

I really agree. Blue tortillas are not nice to look at. I actually bought a pound of them and tried to use them but the big brown spots on them after frying them looked too ugly to serve so changed to some nice white tortillas. They they looked and taste good. I also used the jarred tomatillo sauce tastes as good as fresh and a whole lot easier. We also used Jack cheese for a better taste.
Added more vegies and it was edible. Have to experiment with these food to make them acceptable for the family.

This was a nice way to switch up taco Tuesday. Skytop 1- try making the acutal recipe before you post a review on it! So frustrating how people change everything about a recipe then review it with 3 stars.

Blue corn tortillas look very unappetizing. Photo is revolting. I switched to corn flour tortillas.
I cut way back on the cilantro as it has a strong flavor. I also added portobello (dark mushrooms for depth of flavor. I sauteed the chicken using chicken broth to accentuate the flavor without adding fat. Can save a lot of time by just using bottled salsa or canned texmex diced tomatoes/onions/jalapenos with the chicken and mushrooms. Light on carbs and calories too!

I saw this made on boy meets grill and it has been in steady rotation at the house for years. Very good.

This is one of my favorite dishes to make. It has just the right amount of spice and sweetness in the sauce, and I love that I don't have to roast my own chicken.

Just made this but made a few changes, marinated four chicken breasts in olive oil chili powder lemon juice and seasoning salt, threw them on the grill, sliced and placed them on corn tortillas, garnished with the fresco and pickled onions, served with black beans and ice cold Corona.

This was okay. I think we will make again with some changes. Reduce the honey a little. Add pickled onions, and season the chicken mixture a little better (it was slightly bland.

I've made these numerous times for my family and they're excellent. The recipe is very easy to make your own, we like things a bit spicier and less sweet. You can blacken the tomatillos in a skillet but the grill gives them a great smokiness to them that really adds. the only thing that can make this recipe better is fresh homemade corn tortillas. YUM
