Very good recipe......except to sweet with that much honey. Next time I'll use half or less.I will for sure make this again. I didn't use the BBQ I blackened the tomatillos and the jalapeno in a skillet which worked fine. I also used a Costco rotissare chicken. For tortillas I used napoles tortilla (greenfrom the 99cent store. Yummy and pretty easy.

Great tasting tacos! The ingredients give it a fresh and unique taste. My family loved it and we felt like we were in an authentic mexican restaurant. Try this one for sure.

I love these things! I'm a "grill-o-holic", so I BBQ'd chicken breasts too. So, so, good! The first time I made them. I was working on a menu for my daughter's rehearsal dinner. I had also made stacked enchiladas with pickled onions. My daughter put the pickled onions on the tacos. Now, every time I make the tacos she insists on the onions too! Geesh

I loved it...but added a few more chiles and some cream cheese. Delicious!

We had a "Quesadillas Bar" for our friends and they LOVED the chicken! The only things I did differently (because I didn't have the ingredients in my pantry was I did not use Honey, and I did not use Queso Fresco I also did not barbecue the tomitillas but I pan fried them, and then blended everything together in my food processor. I did not use serano pepper because we had a few friends who do not like spice. I made a flank steak and a whole rotisserie chicken, we literally barely had enough left over for my husbands lunch (there were 7 people Will make this again!

Excellent recipe with just the right amount of heat...I omitted the honey and instead used a pinch of brown sugar.

I thought this recipe was ok, but I am glad I read some of the reviews because it needed some help, I had to substitute jalapenos because our grocery store didn't have serano's which was ok but had to add some salt to tomatillo mixture, also shredded cabbage, avocado, and a squeeze of lime perked it up and used white extra sharp cheddar cheese in lieu of queso fresco, once again couldn't find at grocery store. I cut back on the honey as well and was very glad I did because it would have been to sweet. All in All we enjoyed but used to bolder flavors from Bobby.

It has everything I love in it, and using a chicken from the market makes it easy for me to make. I sit on a stool to get me to counter height, and the fact that this doesn't have many ingredients makes it all the better, since when I stand I get spasms in my lower back and legs. I have to do a lot of adapting with the MS controlling the amount of work I can do each day. This is wonderful, even though I can't use an outdoor grill. I have one that fits over 2 burners and that works well.

My Husband and I loved it! The kids wouldn't try it because it was green, but that was okay all the more for us.

Good recipe. Several things to improve:
- As others have mentioned, use half of the honey called for, or even less.
- Use 2 serano peppers. My wife has average sensitivity to heat, I like it spicy. Both happy.
- Tacos are mushy. They need texture. Slice up a little purple or green cabbage.
- Add some avacado.
- If you like it hot, add habanera hot sauce to each taco. This really improves the flavor.
