First off, the shrimp was awesome. I will be using this flavored boil method for all of my shrimp cocktail from now one. The sauce was quite interesting. The color I thought was fine, the taste was just ok. The horseradish was the best part of it. The recipe made WAY too much sauce though. I quartered the recipe and still had way too much leftover. You only barely dip the shrimp in the sauce, so I feel like the ratio is totally off.

Bobby Flay is a culinary genius and this recipe is brilliant, absolutly wonderful. Incredible depth of flavor and an excellent alternative to my own out-of-this-world cocktail sauce. Yes the sauce is green, OMG-get over it. Tomatillos are awesome, they wouldn't be the same if they were red like tomatoes. I used a little agave nectar rather than honey since I had it out for my margarita. Didn't have any white wine vinegar so I used red. This recipe rocks and I can't wait to wow my friends with it. Five stars from Chef Bucky Raja Bell Nash Flay!

Roasted the shrimp instead to boiling. The sauce is great. All my guests loved it. Definitely a recipe which I'll use again.

I made this for my hubby as part of our appetizer spread for Valentines. If you like horseradish it's perfect...added a little more for the extra kick we desire. It has a well layered flavor that I believe a majority would enjoy. We also used it with Tortilla chips as it had a consistency similiar to salsa. Would probably work well on any light textured fish, too.

The color of the sauce was most unappealing and since you eat with your eyes first, you know right away that you are not interested. It lacked flavor even after I tried to kick it up some. Waste of time and money.

I made this as an appetizer for Christmas Eve! My husband and I both love Shrimp and were eager to try the Tomatillo-Horseradish Cocktail Sauce. It tasted even better than we could have imagined, it has a wonderful warm taste, with just the right kick! Another Bobby Flay Homerun....out of the park!!

I made this as an appetizer with Christmas dinner this year. When making the sauce, I kept the seeds in the jalapenos and it made it pretty spicy which my fiance' and I love but the rest of the family wasn't that excited about it. The shrimp were delicious!! Next time maybe I'll only keep seeds in one jalapeno to tone it down a little.

This recipe is unbelievable from the shrimp to the dip. first the dip..what can I say?! Roasting the veggies is key, I agree that you should add the honey as needed. I only used 1 T and it was great. I use this over chicken also. Now the shrimp...yep yep yep. Great taste with the lemons and corriander and pepper. Wow

This was terrific and great to serve for company. I served it with the traditional sauce and this one disappeared first. Another hit.
