I was given sweet potatoes to bring for Thanksgiving this year by my mom and I HATE sweet potatoes! She told me to consider it a challenge and I took her up on it. I came across this recipie and it looked good even to me. Now, I know my audience and know we have several in the family that cannot handle heat at all so I only used a small amount of the puree (about 1 1/2 teaspoons but it was still great! There was nothing left and even I had two helpings! This will definitely go into the permanent collection! I can't wait to try it again when I can add the full amount of puree because I love spice!

Made this for the first time two years ago for Thanksgiving and it's been a favorite since. Now it's expected during Christmas AND Thanksgiving. Making it now!! Super easy and super yummy. I add more chile since my family liked it hotter. Thanks, Bobby for another favorite recipe!

My husband hate hate hates ! Sweet Potatos ! But when we signed up for a storage share from our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture we received quite a few sweet potatoes and I wasn't going to eat them all alone. THIS. RECIPE. IS. AMAZING !!!! It was delicious, just enough heat and the sweet potato sweetness came through just enough without being too sweet (which is what my husband's problem with sweet potatoes is ! I highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a new take on sweet potatoes

THESE ARE AWESOME!! I HAVE HAD SWEET POTATOES MANY DIFFERENT WAYS, BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE PRIZE!! MY HUSBAND DID NOT LIKE BUT HE DOES NOT CARE FOR SWEET POTATOES NO MATTER HOW THEY ARE PREPARED (BESIDES I AM THE ONE WRITING THE REVIEW LOL:. THEY ARE EXTREMELY FATTENING THOUGH SO DEFINITELY NOT A DISH TO MAKE ALL THE TIME. I WILL MAKE THESE AGAIN EVEN IF I HAVE TO SCALE IT DOWN AND DO IT JUST FOR ME!! HAPPY COOKING TO ALL!

Amazing recipe! I don't like sweet potatoes but I have made this twice with fantastic results both times so it's getting added to my permanent recipe arsenal.

Delicious and tasty. Made them last year (2010 for Thanksgiving and it was the 1st time I didn't have a ton of sweet potatoes left over. Even the people who don't normally like sweet potatoes enjoyed these. The balance of creaminess, sweetness of the potatoes, and heat from the chiles is phenomenal. Don't think I'll ever go back to the old, traditional ones again. Thanks Bobby!

This is soooo delicious & easy to make. Sweet potatoes are a favorite of mine and this new twist is the perfect one to add to my collection. Served it up at a dinner party and it was a hit. My advice is to make extra. Everyone will want 2nds!

I can't even begin to tell you what an incredible recipe this is. It is extremely easy and is my new favorite sweet potato recipe. I took it to a going away party and people came up to me all night to compliment the potatoes. If like savory make these potatoes and put less chili in adobe in you not like spicy. When I buy a can of chili in adobe I divide it into 4-6 small containers and put it in the freezer.
