What is not to love about this recipe??? If you make and don't like it than either your palet is blind or you didn't make it correctly. I have made this twice and both times it was delicious and all of those who ate it thought so too. Cheers!

Absolutely delicious. The BBQ'd salmon mixed with the cabbage and smoked chile sauce made such a wonderful combination. The smoked chile sauce by itself doesn't do anything for me, but when combined with the salmon and cabbage, it complements the dish perfectly. As others have said the BBQ sauce was very labor intensive. But you will have leftover's that can be frozen and definitely tastes better than any BBQ sauce that you can buy at the store.

Only thing I would change is to cut down on the smoked chile sauce. It says to start make 1 cup mayo but there is no need for this. You are only putting a little bit of sauce on each taco so I would cut this down to 1/4 cup mayo. Next time I make this dish it will only take a quarter of the time because all I will really need to make is the cabbage slaw. Which was awesome so I will not skip on this step. Thanks for another awesome recipe Bobby.

I love anything Bobby Flay, and this one didn't disappoint. My only problem with it was that is I smothered way too much BBQ sauce on the salmon, so it was very, very sweet. That was my fault though. Next time I will use less and serve it on the side if people want more. My kids LOVED it which is highly unusual! Went great with steamed rice and black beans. Took a long time, but you'll have a whole summer worth of BBQ sauce left for your freezer. YUMMY! Can't wait to have it again tomorrow.

I LOVE this recipe. The cabbage slaw is super delicious. Don't hate me, but to cut down on prep time, I used bottled, high-quality, BBQ sauce and doctor it with vinegar and fresh squeezed orange juice. Great summer dinner.

This recipe is delicious. Yes the BBQ sauce is labor intensive but there's so much left over you can freeze it. Yes the BBQ sauce is spicy but mixed with all of the other ingredients it is superb. I even add some to the taco as well. This recipe is a huge hit with our family and friends, the layers of flavors are amazing. Absolutely Bobby Flay. Completely delicious. For the two who disliked it, either you don't like spicy sweet food or maybe you did something wrong. You can always add more honey to the sauce if it's too hot for you. Again, the layers of this recipe are amazing. Worth every effort! Love love love! All my friends were blown away. Thanks Bobby!

Awful. Followed all directions. Very disappointing that I thought Bobby should be ashamed to
print this one. Everyone seems to disagree. I love hot and spicy food, so that wasn't the problem. We through it down the drain and made sandwiches. I even thought the sauce for the cole slaw was awful.

Making all of this is a bit of a production, but WELL worth the time and effort. My only alteration was to only use 1/2 as much cilantro and use a little more basil in the slaw dressing as I knew my audience is not particularly fond of cilantro, it turned out very nice. I got a "rave" review on it!

I have served this dish the past two years for a large 4th of July pool party and it is the hit of the day. The multiple sources of exploding flavors is Booby Flay's signature (BBQ sauce, chipolite sauce, and slaw. As with an recipe you have to taste and adjust the spices for the crowd you are entertaining.
