Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria

Ingredients
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup cognac
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and julienned
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • One 750-milliliter bottle cava or other dry sparkling wine, chilled
Directions
  • Put the apple cider, cognac and apples in a large pitcher and stir to combine. Chill for at least an hour.

  • Stir most of the pomegranate seeds into the mixture, reserving a few for garnish. Pour in the cava. Pour the sangria into glasses and garnish each with a few pomegranate seeds.
