We made these tacos tonight, and they were fabulous. VERY easy to make, just a lot of steps. I did not make the guacamole, instead added some avocado slices. Couple of things - first, PEEL THE ONIONS. The prep time you save is not measurable and they dont come off as easy as the recipe says. Secondly, the recipes creates a large amount of rub, you could probably cut it in half and have plenty.

I was a little leary to combine all of these elements in a taco, but I'm so glad I did! Each are fantastic on their own, but together it was just wonderful. Made each part exactly as written. Can't wait to try the leftovers.

This is not a sweet coleslaw. If you want that, add more sugar or keep searching. The recipe ingredients doesn't call for celery salt, yet the directions do. I didn't add it, and I think that it would be overkill. I used the coleslaw on a pulled pork sandwich, and the apple cider tastes amazing against the barbecue flavor. Great job, Bobby!! This is my new favorite coleslaw recipe.

I made this for my family tonight and they loved it! We started with chips and queso and finished with cinnamon gelato for desert. I used Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Chipolte BBQ Sauce on the onions because it was what I had on hand and it saved me some time. The rub for the chicken is a perfect compliment for the peppers and onions. This would be a very easy dinner to double and cut cooking time for a meal later in the week. The chicken would be a fabulous topper for a mixed green salad. Thank you Mr. Flay for the great recipes.

I made this tonight for my husband and we both loved it. Great flavor! We didn't use the BBQ sauce on the onions instead we used some BBQ type spices. Really good. We will make this again.

i'm originally from socal...so i'm a fan of cabbage on tacos (think fish tacos. i liked the rub for the chicken. if you're a more traditional taco person, these are not for you. think fajita tacos. i took a meat mallet to my chicken breasts to even out the thickness and also brined them for about 30 minutes. i served with grilled corn salad with lime, red chili and cotija. perfect summer meal!

We made this exactly as directed except substituted corn tortillas for flour -- lightly grilled. AMAZING. Great leftovers...

I am not thrilled about coleslaw or onions but I love the way these tacos came together. Great flavor and texture. I added a side of grilled pineapple and finished it off with some key-lime pie
