The recipe is delicious, especially the rub. The sauce isn't good though, like another reviewer said it tastes a lot like the peanut sauce they give you for potstickers. I made it again and left out the peanut sauce and it was delicious.

I made the BBQ rub and sauce according to recipe. The rub was okay, but the sauce was not good at all- tasted more like the spicy peanut sauce they give you for spring rolls than like BBQ sauce. We had a bunch extra and ended up throwing it all out- a big waste of time and ingredients.

I had to try this recipe after watching the show--love the throwdown shows. I cook professionally and was a little wary about not cooking off the ribs with only the rub on them first, before brushing on the sauce, but thought I would follow the recipe exactly....these were terrible....pasty, rub was uncooked and overall flavor was not good...the sauce by itself was good and the rub sounds good, but as in other recipes, you always cook the ribs first with only the rub on and then near the end put the sauce on.....for all the work and money for this recipe I will not make again. They looked so great on TV...I think they left something out in the printed version...but then again, he didn't win on the show either. oh well.....would love to have my money back on these things.

I was really excited to try this recipe but I must admit, I was a little disappointed with the results. Though the ribs were tasty overall, I thought that the rub was a little salty, especially when used in the quantity the recipe gives. If I make the sauce again, I will cut the peanut butter down to 1/2 cup so it doesn't take center stage in the recipe.

This was actually really easy to make and acsolutely fantastic. They were incedibly spicy, which people loved, but I would tone down slightly next time. So yummy, highly recommend, will make again!!

Wonderful flavor and so moist. However, I did cook mine at 350 instead of 400 for 1 hour 50 minutes. They were perfect!!! Got rave reviews!

I think this is a great recipe,it's not that hard to make, and you get to taste all these great flavors.I used some apple wood to smoke mine and they came out great.the perfect mixture of sweet with heat.
