After the Viking Baking Company went out of business in Connecticut, I was desperate to find a recipe for limpa that my Swedish family would love. THIS IS IT! Everything about this recipe is perfect. The bread is moist and delicious with a perfect crumb factor. I have had to make loaves to give to cousins and aunts as presents! Thanks, Bobby for finding this one.

I have made this bread for company over the holidays, we were eating it with just butter and drinking our coffee waiting for our ham to bake. Then later when leaving with some ham and goodie plate, they asked for slices of the rye. I love to see my family and friends leave with smiling faces. Thanks with a "smile".
