SOME LIKE IT HOT! Bobby got this one right! I didn't make the sauces just the chicken. IT IS SPICY! I have also done this as a marinade using no cayenne pepper, then all of the remaining spices and mixing with Greek yogurt, garlic and onion it was fantastic! I have done this recipe with boneless thighs and wings as well! The wings were a huge hit. Great flavors thanks Bobby!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT LIKE SPICY CUT THE CAYENNE START WITH 1/2 A TSP MIX WITH THE OTHER SPICES AND TASTE IT THEN ADD TO YOUR DESIRED HEAT LEVEL.

I made this for a party and everyone asked for the recipe! Also if you try to use regular Paprika or black pepper or table salt this recipe will not taste the same. I gave this recipe to a friend at the party and she didn't have smoked paprika, white pepper, or kosher salt so she improvised and did not like it. She loved it at the party and hated it when she made it because the spices were different.

VERY good! I cut the cayenne pepper down to 1 teaspoon, and it was still plenty of heat in my opinion. I also cut the rub in half, and it was just enough to cover the chicken. Instead of the pita, we made some homemade Naan. My husband and I really enjoyed all the flavors of this meal, and will definetly be making it again!

So tasty and so easy! Read reviews first, so I cut the cayenne pepper down to 1/2 tablespoon. Used chicken tenders instead of breasts, otherwise kept all other elements the same. Can't wait to make it for guests! Loved it!

Wow cannot believe some of the negative reviews on this recipe!!! True, it is spicy. Cut the heat out if you do not like it. I use indian NAAN bread instead of pita, skip the saffron in the plum tomato sauce and I do cut the heat in half. This recipe is absolutely delish!!! Please make variations as you see fit.
We have made this recipe several times,,,also we cut the amount of spices in the rub in half but only because it makes way too much rub and there is a lot left over. (it will empty out your spice collection in a hurry!!! Also we have used a premade jar of curry rub before instead of using all of those spices..found in the grocery store . you can buy mild, medium or spicy

I am so mad I didnt read the reviews first, which I usually do. This rub is extremely spicy!! I cut the cayenne pepper to 1/2 tsp and it is still hot! Lucky I thought to taste it before I used it or my chicken breast would've been ruined. Definitely would have been bad for the kids, good thing I always have mrs. dash! now off to make our usual!

I cooked this for dinner last night, it was just ok. The chicken was just plain in the inside, the rub is not that good. The jam is ok but had to put in a lot more seasoning and less vinager maybe just 1 1/2tbs. Fan of Bobby, but this one just didnt work for us.
