I made it with canned pumpkin and pre-made graham pie shell, and it still came out delicious. The receipe calls to freeze extra but I bought the 9" pie with the "extra slice" and had no leftovers. Soo good

Streusel Receipe -- Here is what I think it is. I found this from his other pie on this site.
Cinnamon Crunch
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup light muscovado sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
7 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small cubes, cold

JOHN, THE STREUSEL CRUNCH RECIPE IS NOT ON THE THROWDOWN RECIPE .I HAD TO WATCH THE THROWDOWN VIDEO TO GET IT. HOWEVER, LATER I DISCOVERED YOU'LL FIND IT IN B.F. PUMPKIN PIE W/CIN. CRUNCH & BOURBON MAPLE WHIPPED CREAM RECIPE. I'M GETTING READY TO MAKE THIS PIE HOWEVER, I'M A BIT COMFUSED BECAUSE THE THROWDWN RECIPE CALLS FOR 2 EGGS AND 2 YOLKS AND THE ORIGINAL RECIPE (B.F. PUMKIN PIE W/CIN. CRUNCH CALLS FOR 3/3. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I have never liked pumpkin pie but my 5 year old has been begging for me to make one because he learned about it in school. I chose this recipe because it looked the best. It was terrific! The kids loved it (I left the bourbon out of their whipped cream and the adults loved it with the bourbon whipped cream. Will be making this for Thanksgiving this year!

I tried this pie after I bought the one from the bakery. I like this one much better, because unlike the one from the pie shop, it is not $30. Try this recipe, you'll love it! And why would any bakery or restaurant post their original recipe online? That aint gonna happen, folks, but this one rocks.

I've been waiting since the Nov. 11, 2009 episode for Michelle Albano's Decadent Maple Pumpkin with Pecan Streusel Pie recipe. I'd even settle for Bobby Flay's streusel recipe. ;

My husband and I are avid pumpkin pie eaters! It is our favorite type of pie and by far this recipe blows away any of the pumpkin pies we've ever had! And he has been making them for years! I agree with the others, I hope they post Michelle's recipe, as well,h so we can try that one too. I was on her website to try and get one shipped but her bakery doesn't ship pies yet.
