These were so good that I put them on whole wheat toast (When Pigs Fly - seeded whole grain and have them for breakfast! Awesome!

Love these! I do not put them on bread and just use them as a side dish. I broiled them and then put them in a bag for 15 minutes. Peeled the skin and then did not bother with re grilling them. Great flavor!

These toasts were so good and filling that I didnt need to eat again for about 24 hours. Talk about satisfaction.

I didn't bother with twice grilling the peppers & just kept the skin on. The caper-basil vinagrette is excellent & I ended up using it on top of vine ripened tomotoes that I had also halved & grilled. I highly recommend making this appetizer as it is OUTSTANDING, however, be careful as it will steal the show! Excellent!

I made these at a memorial day cookout I had, and they were a huge hit! if you don't normally like peppers because of their bitterness and texture, they get so soft and sweet when you cook them this way! the vinaigrette also ended up doubling as a great dip for the french bread, and I hardly had enough to brush on the peppers! SOOOO good!
