I knew Bobby was pretty good but...OMG!!! I just finished making this it is AMAZING! My back is killing me as it did take a lot of work but WOW, was it worth it. The sauce and flavors are incredible. I'm very much a rookie cook I'm so tired and I can't get over my back ache but man I totally recommend this to everyone!!! Way to go Bobby!

Whew! Process was a bit long and tedious, but end result was fantabulous. Actually skipped the homemade tortilla part (no press and no energy after all prep work 8-. Made EXCELLENT appetizers by dicing the cabbage slaw and placing ingredients into small, bite-sized tortilla bowls (e.g. Tostitos Scoops or similar. Do toast the peanuts with salt, pepper, brown sugar, and a bit of red pepper flake. Toss in 1/4 c. cilantro at the end. Totally wonderful and unusual appetizer!

I've had many tacos from Texas, New Mexico, California, Virginia, New York, New Hampshire, even Mexico and while these might not be the most traditional tacos, they are, by far, the best I have ever had. I would have never thought of putting that red cabbage slaw on a southwestern taco, but it was perfect. The flavors melded so well. It was a lot of work, but well worth it.
