AMAZING! We've made these three times in the past two months and I can't stop thinking the combination of textures and flavors. They're a little messy to eat but definitely worth it.

We really enjoyed this recipe. It was a bit time consuming, but I managed to pull it off with no problems with 5 kids (3 that are 4 and under. I did use a bottled bbq sauce to cut down on the prep time, but did everything according to the recipe. My husband and I both loved it.

This is an extremely time consuming recipe. It literally took me most the day to prepare. The Mesa BBQ sauce is very different tasting. I wasn't sure if I really cared for it all that much after all the preperation that goes into it. I then made the Peanut sauce which was really tasty but I could have made an equivalent peanut sauce with less prep and that tasted just as good. The chicken after we grilled it was lacking in flavor and I marinated for the alotted 4 hours. All in all this recipe was mediocre at best. My husband wasn't thrilled by it and I thought it was just so so. The one thing we did really enjoy was the cole slaw! I made it using green cabbage and added chopped peanuts! YUM

I was obsessed with the Yucatan Chicken Tacos that I ate at Mesa Grill in Las Vegas. This is the same chicken and delicious sauce that I had there. I am so glad that I found this recipe so I could duplicate it at home. The tacos at Mesa were served with charred tortillas, caramelized onions, mint, and cilantro, so that is how I typcially eat it. Fantastic!

This recipe is a showstopper! It's my husband's single favorite summer meal. I've made it several times but usually reserve it for special occasions because it is rather time consuming to prepare. Both the bbq sauce and slaw can be made in advance. This recipe makes a lot of bbq sauce, which is great because it freezes beautifully so it will save you time the next time you make this... and you will definitely be making this again.

I followed the recipe to the tee and it was so perfect! I will make this again and again! The slaw is great and the sauce, yum!

Just finished this meal and it was excellent. The marinade was awesome and the sauce was sooo good. Very easy to make! Will definitely be making again and using sauce with other dishes.

I really only used the Mesa BBQ Sauce and Peanut Sauce recipe in this dish for something else. It took a while to make the Mesa BBQ Sauce first, then use that in the Peanut Sauce but well worth the time. I'm not sure you can every go wrong with adding peanut butter to something, but this recipe was absolutely outstanding and I'll keep it in my kitchen arsenal from now on.
