If you are in New York City: Kalustyan's 123 Lexington Ave., New York, NY 10016 Phone # 212-685-3451. You can order spices from the store's website. Hope this is helpful.

This was quite good. The cinnamon along with the savory herbs mixed with the onions and garlic smelled and tasted like heaven. Next time I might use crushed tomatoes as they didn't break down very well, and I like a chunky sauce. But the flavors were bold enough to be interesting but palatable enough for my grandchild. I have watched cooking shows for many years, and Alex's style is intriguing. She mixes great skill with a smoldering sensuality and an obvious love for food.

My husband and I love chicken thighs. We never tried Indian food so I made this last night. We loved the flavors and I will be making this dish often. Even my ninety-two year old father liked it. I agree with the previous reviewer that Alex needs to be on more often.

I saw the show this morning and went out to get what I needed. I was excited that this recipe was Indian but not too strong with spices--like curry. I loved it!! Try it out and make sure you do not cover the pan, I did and the sauce was a bit watery. I served it with rice andI sprinkled cilantro onto the rice and chicken. Yummy!

Where did she buy the spices? I wrote down Klutyans, but that wasn't correct. Chicken was great and smelled wonderful.

I love Indian food and the entire menu from this episode looks absolutely scrumptuous. Thanks for the info on where to buy the spices Alex! You're one great lady. Keep on bringing us your deliciousness!

Thank you for using chicken thighs rather than the over worked, boring and dry chicken breast! I love chicken thighs. I have not tried these Indian receipes yet but plan to this week. I am already assembling my spices.
We need more Alex! Once a week is not enough!
