Such an awesome combination of texture and flavor. The sweetness of the grapes with the crunchiness of the pecans. Sooooo yummy!!!

We made this salad and loved it - from the red grapes, to the sweet n' savory pecans to the tangy/creamy dressing, it was a hit. I added green apple slices, grape tomatoes and green olives to the salad.

The dressing is yummy, but I had a tough time with the spiced pecans. I followed the directions exactly, but the sugar/spice mixture just glopped up while I was trying to coat the pecans and I ended up with about 10 pecans all cemented together and the rest of them bare! Not sure if I did something wrong, but I was disappointed! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This was so delicious - especially the spiced pecans - I could make those and eat just those - all of them - as a meal! The dressing was very good too!

I can't decide if the recipe and actual salad was the best ever OR if his style, personality and charm are the best!!! He always makes me rush out and get any necessary ingredients to duplicate whatever he is up to. He is SO fun to watch and puts new interests and methods into common ways of food preparation. Loved how he turned his grill into a pizza oven with the use of bricks. How creative he is and an absolute joy to watch!!!!

Definitely stole the dressing recipe as a go to when we have goat cheese!

This recipe is fabulous. I used butter leaf lettuce and followed the recipe exactly. It was a huge hit at a dinner party for the local theater group. One man took 4 helpings! There was a little left over and he grabbed it, saying he couldn't let it go to waste.

The goat cheese dressing works beautifully. The nuts on top make for a very appealing presentation. Highly recommended!

I love goat cheese so I'm sure I'll love the recipe. If I see a recipe has an ingredient in it I don't like, then I just don't make it or ask someone in the store or online what a good substitute would be. Since goat cheese is part of the recipe title, why would you even comment on it. Since the goat cheese is part of the dressing, you only have to make a dressing you do like. Rating a recipe you have never made is not fair for those of us who assume 2 things: that you like the ing. in the recipe and that you have made it. I'm tired of constantly seeing why a recipe got a low rating when it looked delicious on the show and discover to find that the review is useless.
