I made the goat cheese and sun dried tomatoe skewrers as one of our appetizers during the ND football game yesterday. My husband loved them. Brian is a geat hiost. He is fun and the recipies are great and he brings the viewers right into his home and makes us feel part of his friends and family for a half hour each week. THis is a keeper Food Network!

I made them with chopped almonds as I was too cheap to buy pistachios! ( $8.99 for 8 oz. no way! I also thread the tomato and basil leaf first and then the cheese ball and stood them upright! Awesome recipe and Brian Rocks! Just wish they had gotten the South Park Song for the intro!

Thanks so much for bringing this terrifically enteratining show to the FoodNetwork lineup. I have been a longtime fan of Brian's as I watched him skate over the years. He cooks as well as he skates! Perhaps you will do more shows like this in the future. I watch the food channel daily and get tired of seeing the same folks and continued repeats of shows that aired in years past.

Wow! I never liked goat cheese. But this recipe made me love it and the first episode of this show made me want to host a cocktail party just to try out the rest of them.

Made these for an appetizer for a work picnic plus my daughter and husband had a taste-overall it was good- presentation was pretty with the colors- not rave reviews but good-- the sun dried tomatoes are very chewy and the goat cheese is very soft so make sure your "sizes" are in proportion in this appy! BTW- Love the new show-very funny!

I have been watching the Food Network for years and this is the first time I have ever made a comment! I was thoroughly entertained watching Brian Boitano's first show "What Would Brian Boitano Make?" It made me smile and laugh out loud! I'm trying the Sun-Dried Tomato and Goat Cheese Skewers this weekend. Thank you Brian and Food Network !

I caught Brian's new show this week and loved it. The recipes all looked delicious, not the usual fare, and his personality is so adorable! I can't wait to see the next episode. I just made this recipe as a snack, the only thing I did was skimp a bit on the pistachios since I peeled them myself, so next time I'll make sure to coat them a bit more to balance the flavors. Otherwise, this is a great, simple appetizer that is great to prep ahead of guests. Love it!
