Very tasty! I will definitely make this again. I used half the flour that was called for and the consistency was perfect. Also added salt, pepper and a clove of fresh minced garlic..and probably double the cheese. Ritz worked fine for the crackers. Think I'll go finish off the leftovers now...

I picked this recipe because I had most of the ingredients on hand. After adding the flour it did seem a bit like mashed potatoes, but I added a little more milk, a couple pinches of nutmeg, some onion powder and more cheese. Didn't have crackers, so used bread crumbs and it was delicious! Will definitely be making it again!

Not bad, but not great. Took more time than just steaming some broccoli and making a cheese sauce and wasn't as tasty. The crackers came out kind of soggy, maybe it needed more cooking time but I would probably just leave them off or use less if I made it again.

Very tasty and easy to make! Will def be making this again! Great way to get the kids to eat broccoli! I only used about 1 tbs. of flour and a lot more cheese! I used a combo of sharp and reg cheddar and monterey jack. I also used a little velveeta and added a bit of black pepper to the mix as well. Also, my kids enjoy it when i add some frozen corn to the mix...they seem to eat the broccoli more! I will do anything to get them to eat the greens!!!

I have never posted a negative review, usually I am pretty easy to please when it comes to food. But this was just GROSS. I made it for guests and someone asked me if there were potatoes in it when in fact, the sauce is just that thick. WAY too much flour...would have been better just having cheese or steaming the broccoli on its own. If you are looking for a good recipe to put broccoli in, don't use this one.

I chose this one instead of the overprocessed recipes using foods like mayo and cannned mushroom soups the other recipes offered; this is all from scratch including fresh broccoli, and I did add salt and pepper to the sauce , used some french cheese, and since I had no crackers, I crunched some blue corn tortilla chips over it w/o any butter,,,came out excellent! Oh I added some frozen corn kernels to the brocolli as well. Served with steamed rice.

My family loved it! I liked it because it didn't have mayo, which to me makes it too strong. Perfect balance of cheese and broccoli. Making it again at Christmas! Will be a traditional family recipe.

Pretty simple to make and came out great. I liked the flavor just the way it was, though it did need a little extra salt and pepper once all done. My husband requested a little more cheese flavor next time, which can be easily done by adding more cheese. I would definitely make this again :

This was not bland at all! The subtle sauce did not overpower the broccoli, which was tender, but not mushy at all. The crackers are a wonderful addition in that they add a different texture to the casserole. Since I'm a butter lover, I added extra butter to coat the crackers with! It's awesome. We have this at least once a week now, and I'm thinking of adding pasta and ham. Enjoy!
