I used half ground chuck and half ground pork, makes a more moist and flavorful meatloaf. Loved the sauce!

Don't know why this meatloaf gets a 4-star rating. Meat comes out hard, no flavor, and the topping is nothing special but just sweetened ketchup. I'm not an expert on meatloaf but I've had better and I'll be looking for another meatloaf recipe. I'll look for ingredients that soften the meatloaf, plus has a kick@#%# topping that I know will produce flavor.

I have been cooking meatloaf for over 50 years and I have finally found the one that Johnny likes; Brooke's recipe. I have always used lots of different spices and fillers and by doing this, I always got different tastes and textures. Brooke's recipe was very tasty and so delicious. My son-in-law grew up with his Mom making meatloaf and scalloped potates every Sunday and I plan on making Brooke's meatloaf recipe for him next Sunday.

Love to you and all your family. Johhny's Cook

My goodness, Btooke, this is my exact recipe from over 25 years ago. I make this at least once every 3 weeks or so, and most everyone loves the simplicity of flavors. Was nice to see it on the Food Network. Keep up the good work Paula. You're like a comfy good friend in my kitchen daily. Thanks.Your friend in food, Grannymandy

Easy, Simple, Tasty and the family loves it and asks for it again and again! One tip: make extra glaze - can't have too much!

This is a good recipe, but it definitely does need more flavor. I'm doing it again but definitely adding the meatloaf seasoning to the meat. I absolutely love the sauce. It's way better than any gravy I've ever had!

Delicious! I like a little kick in my meatloaf and substituted some sweet chili sauce for the brown sugar in the glaze and added a little to the meatloaf itself. Sweet and spicy and moist!

This recipe looked so good on the show, but I found it to be quite bland and tasteless. The glaze was good but that's about it. I usually put my meatloaf in a roasting pan but decided to try the 9 x 3 loaf pan the recipe called for. The grease (and I used 90% beef was floating all over it; at one point I took it out of the oven and poured off some of the grease......what a disappointment!
