This was fantastic! I took it to a party and it was gone in about 20 minutes. Everyone raved about it. So easy and delicious. It has definitely earned a spot in my recipe collection!

I can never make enough. I love this receipe. It is original and is always a hit. I made this recipe with canned chicken first and the second time I made a slight variation. I used ground chicken. I cooked the onion and chicken on the stove top, then mixed in all the other ingredients and warmed it on the stove. I used a sprinkle of Ranch packet dressing too. I then threw on the mozzerlla and added some cheddar and baked it off in the oven. I toasted pita bread and cut it in triagles to scoop the dip.

    This is right on!

I never made BCD before. It was awesome! I gave some to my neighbors and they couldn't get enough of it. Next time, instead of canned chicken, I will try it with rotisserie or boiled cheicken as some others have suggested. It tasted just as good, if not better, the next day.

I double this recipe for parties and it ALWAYS goes. I am living in NYC now and gets requests for this recipe every time I make it. Here are a few tips that I think really improve this recipe.
    1. Throw 2 chicken breasts in a crock pot with about 1/2 cup of the Frank's to cover and just let it cook. When it's done, shred it and add a little bit of the juice back in plus some fresh hot sauce and melted butter (until it looks/tastes right
    2. Layer the dip! This way people can get more or less of what they like. Spread the room temp cream cheese, then chicken, then shredded cheese (I use the packaged cheddar mozzarella blend. Bake until the cheese bubbles!
    3. I usually leave out the blue cheese because it really doesn't need it but i have crumbled some on top of the cream cheese.

We can't go to a party now without bringing this. I rub chicken breasts with Essence and bake them, then shred them. I hate blue cheese, too, but in this dip it's fantastic with the ranch dressing. I mix TP with Goya's red hot sauce to get the flavor and kick I want.

No Ranch and No Bleu Cheese. The cream cheese works fine by itself. Frank's is good, but Texas Pete's Buffalo wing sauce works wonder. But yes, the chicken breast give the dip more structure, but i like it either way. definitly one of the best dips i've ever made or tried for that matter. Also try Taco Dip. Amazing as well!!!!!

I found BCD at a local grocery store, served cold. I went home to recreate it and the recipe is nearly identical and everyone thought it was great. Personally, I found the canned chicken to be gritty so I have switched over to chicken breasts and the result is fantastic. If you have a small crockpot set it on warm and the dip remains warm during your event as well and staying smooth and creamy, not having the cheeses sticking together.

I made this dip yesterday for my husband's pot luck at work. He told me that they loved it. I used Frank's hot sauce to give it a little kick and I used feta cheese instead of blue because my husband hates blue cheese. It came out great and tasted even better than I thought. Got to try this one.
