Everyone was right about this one. It's quite time consuming to make. It's also quite rich. If I made it again, I'd axe the flour in the cheese sauce, and increase the amount of hot sauce.
This dish will go over quite well with kids.

@ GOOD but TOO CHEESY....i think u commented on the werong recipe..this is buffalo chicken mac and cheese not lasagna lol
i luved this recipe...i agree that it took a lil while to make but it was sooo worth it.
i used thick cut bacon to give it a lil more meaty taste...i cooked the chicken in a lil bit of butter to cut back on the fat a lil....i dont think it was to hot...i actually wouldve liked more hot sauce..after it bakes it dilutes.

This recipe required quite a bit of work but was worth it. Delicious but a very heavy dish. Would recommend serving with a salad or something else light.

People will love or hate this dish. It's different, but my family liked it. The chicken is very good. Very easy to adjust to any taste or diet. I made the dish with the ingredients already on hand and diet requirements. The cheese in this mac & cheese requires meat. This would make good use of precooked bacon and non-sauced chicken breast. I think it would be a good twist on that left over Thanksgiving turkey meat chucks. I make one suggestion dilute the hot sauce with white wine or have heat absorbing food/drink handy.

I would've given this recipe 3.5 stars but since I didn't know no-boil lasagna noodles existed that was worth the extra 0.5 star.
Nix the cheddar (other reviewers said this but I didn't see it till I'd made it the way it was presented. If you don't nix the cheddar use 4oz cheddar and 4oz mozzarella.
Add half jar sauce or double the sauce and tomatoes cause the meat was dry for my taste after following the instructions. When I added half jar sauce it was much better. I don't see how it would have stretched to fit the layers otherwise.
Add oregano and basil to the cottage cheese. This is lasagna after all.
Love that it was an easy recipe. Can't wait to make again w/ the above modifications.

It took nearly 90 minutes to prep this recipe. The amount of time and money invested into the recipe was not worth it. The M&C part of the recipe was very bland, though the buffalo chicken part tasted great. I will not be making it again...except possibly the Buffalo Chicken tenders.

My husband and I loved this recipe. Its definitely not something to make if you are wanting somthing quick. Next time I would mix the blue cheese in instead of keeping it all on top, It got a bit too dark for my taste. I will be making this again soon!
