    It's tasty and easy, but the custard comes out a bit of a looser consistency likely because the method as described is a bit of a short cut--I've always cooked the custard first.

    I have made this several times and we all LOVE it. I make it and we eat it the same day. I do however drain the apple cinnamon mixture as we like it better without the syrup that forms froms from the added sugar. This is yummy!!
