    it was really good...the flavour of the mushrooms, meat was very well balanced....none of the falvours are overboard...very well balanced...cheers

    This is a wonderful stroganoff recipe that doesn't take all night to prepare and will knock your socks off! Unlike most of the stroganoff recipes on this site, this one doesn't call for tomato paste (something my family dislikes, but has plenty of flavor. I find that using red wine in the recipe gives it depth and added richness.

    My husband I loved this recipe, it wasn't too heavy but creamy at the same time.

    Only question I have was when do I add the worchestershire sauce?? I added it with sour cream.

    I love to cook and am always trying out new recipies, I cooked this one last night for a particularly 'fusssy' eater - my husband! He absolutely loved it and said that even tho I produce great meals this was absolutely the best yet! It was a great dish and would also be perfect for a dinner party as it's so easy to make and you're not stuck in the kitchen all evening while everyone is enjoying themselves! I'll definitely make this again and again and would reccommend even the novice cook to try it.
