My husband and I saw this on the Food Network and decided to try it. It takes a little time to prepare(lots of chopping, but well worth it. It is so good and the family loves it at picnics.

Don't make the same mistake I did, which was adding the full suggested amounts of the garlic salt and celery salt - the salad will be too salty. Even without overdoing the salt, I found that it needed some sugar to balance out all the salty ingredients. Overall, good and certainly very unique taste for a pasta salad.

i made this salad for a party... my mother in-law who claims to be a pasta salad carnivore said this was the best pasta salad she has ever tasted...score!!! and i made it last minute, also substituted the pasta for festive colored bowtie....cute

I made this for a surprise birthday party and this was about as big of a hit as the party was! I have had so many people ask me for the recipe and some even thought it might be a special secret recipe. Of course, I gave them the web site. I am making this for a detective dinner next week. It will be for 100!

My boyfriend say this on tv and recorded it. We've been using it since. I went to an easter potluck, and had the only dish with no left-overs. At an easter dinner with 25 people. Lots of ingredients, but work the effort!!
