I wish I read the reviews first, I would have cut back on the mustard, it was definitely overwhelming. Mine also came out kinda soupy, like it never 'set up' ... not sure if it's supposed to be like that or not, I even cooked it for an extra 15 minutes?? I will give this one more try with some slight modifications.. hopefully with better luck next time.

Good but not great. I added some Tabasco - it really needs it and a bit of Kosher Salt. It tends to be bland. I thought it unusual that the recipe didn't call for any seasonings at all. Not sure if a lot of these recipes are vetted.

This recipe goes over really well with a crowd, with a couple of substitutions!
I use 1 bag of shredded potatoes - defrosted in the microwave (lowers cooking time! I incorporate 1 & 1/2C of the cheese into the casserole (I prefer Jack. I usually only use 1/4 C of the dijon, sometimes I leave it out entirely if there are more picky eaters. I bake it without the french fried onions for 45 minutes. I throw on 1/2 C of cheese with the french fried onions for the last 15-20 minutes until well browned.

Great brunch potatoes. They were a hit, they stayed heated and went over well

My husband could not get enough of this dish, the mixture of potatoes, cheese and onions as well as all the other ingredients is a true winner.

Delicious! Goes great with ham, for a delicious dinner, or great with bacon and eggs for a nice brunch. Everyone loves it and it is good comfort food
