After researching many tiramisu recipes, I decided to try this one since its preparation was so easy. I was not disappointed! The mascarpone layer had just the right weight to it -- substantial without being too heavy -- and it served beautifully after two days in the refrigerator. I, too, substituted Kahlua for the Marsala and the flavor was perfect.

This is one of the easiest recipes for tiramisu! But the taste does not let you down. It taste like a desert you would get at an Italian restaurant.
I did substitute the Marsala with Kalhua, and it worked out great!

Well I made this recipe to try it out at my parents' italian restaurant cuz the Tiramisu we had was just icky & frozen and all that so I wanted to see if I could make a homemade one. Wellllll i tried a small piece and was kind of dissapointed becuz it wasnt amazing. All i really tasted was the Marsala which i assume is the wine? lol i hope! I dunno maybe i did something wrong...

This is one of the easiest desserts I have ever made. It literally took me about 30 mins to make this from start to finish. I substitued a bit of Kalua for Marsala wine and made about half the quantity of the espresso mixture. I made this for an Italian friend of mine and she loved it!! Proof is in the pudding! Delicious...will be making this again soon!!!!

This is my fiance's favorite and he was coming home on leave for his birthday (he is a marine so I made it for him and it turned out PERFECT! I am not that experience in the kitchen, but I need practice since I will be getting married next year, and this recipe was not too hard for me. I used Kahlua instead of marsala and it is SO GOOD. 1 and a half tablespoons in the whipped mixture and 4 tablespoons in the espresso. btw, for anyone using raw eggs, there's a brand called Davidson's that makes pastuerized shell eggs that are safe to eat raw. They have a website!

Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts and is something I always order out. This recipe was by far the best Tiramisu I've ever had. Everyone just loved it and could not stop eating it. They all just raved about it. Definitely worth the time in putting it together. You will love it!!!

First time try at Tiramisu- I will make it again no doubt! It is my fiance's favorite dessert! Thought I would try it to go with my Italian theme dinner- turned out great! Used half of the marsala is called for and the other half I used brandy and used strong coffee instead of espresso. I let it set up overnight- served well but a little runny- will put in freezer for about 20-30 min before serving next time. Also found marscapone on sale- only spent about $6 on this dessert. Fantastic- everyone asked me for the recipe!

I've made this recipe several times and always with great success. The recipe is versatile, foolproof, and the instructions are great. I have made double and triple batches, sometimes making it into several small portions for multiple occasions, so convenient! Thank you!

I travel bout 60,000 miles a year and my favorite is tiramisu.
I have eaten it all over the world and I have made this recipe very often. I wish there was a 10 star rating on this site because this gentleman's recipe is "TRUE TIRAMISU" and is oustanding.
