The use of 6 cans of tomato sauce and lack of spices made this recipe too soupy and very bland. With the overwhelming amount of tomato you couldn't tell there was anything to the recipe, especially chocolate.

I first got this recipe by furiously copying it when the show it was on aired. I lost it and was so very pleased to find it here again. This recipe is so good as it is; but of of the best things about it is, you can dress it up how ever you want!! It's a great Chili and a great Chili base to build your own! DO NOT omit the chocolate!!! You will be sorry. I serve the Chili in huge bowls (we have big appetites here with a "kiss" in the middle in each bowl!! It's great!!
