A really great tasting dish I am glad I read the reviews first because it is super hot I took the chicken and just sprinkled the pepper mix evenly over them not dipping them in it because I knew better, it created a hot dish that we could eat & enjoy the taste.Next time I will make sure to use a sweeter canned tomato like hunts diced in olive oil and garlic. We loved it! I did make the potatos the same way but used less sour cream/and cream cheese they were great to bring the heat down a bit. Will make again!

The first time I made this recipe I followed the directions exactly and it was very good. The whole family loved it. The second time, I added chili powder and crushed tomatoes instead of diced, increased vodka to 1/2 cup and WOW what a punch. A great recipe became a fantastic recipe

Far too much pepper. I reduced the amount and it still was too hot. I will make the same recipe again but I will just sprinkle the chicken with a small amount of pepper blend.
P.S. I love hot foods -- but this one was over the top.

I didn't make the vodka chicken, although I will. The potatoes were really bad. They turned out way to runny and so I put them in a dish and baked them at 350 for an hour. Nothing to write home about..not worth the time.

THE PREVIOUS REVIEWER WASN'T KIDDING--THIS IS FOR HEAT SEEKERS ONLY, BUT DELICIOUS! MY HUSBAND WHO NORMALLY DOESN'T LIKE CHICKEN LOVED IT, ESPECIALLY THE SAUCE. I DIDN'T HAVE LEMON PEPPER SO ADDED A LITTLE LEMON JUICE TO THE SAUCE. WHEN I WENT TO PUT AWAY THE BOTTLE REALIZED I PUT IN GIN INSTEAD OF VODKA. EXCELLENT JUST THE SAME!

For people that love heat this is it. If you want it more mild just cut back on the amounts.
