This is the best soup I've ever tasted...and I don't just had out that title. Fresh tastes in this soup really balance each other out. My picky husband even went back for 2nds and said it was his favorite as well. This was a very simple recipe that will become a part of my family's kitchen staple.

While I believed this recipe would make a pretty tasty soup, my family was more than cautious when they found out the ingredient list. However, it turned out better than we all hoped. Everyone thought the flavors were unique and wonderful and all helped themselves to seconds! Only thing I would do is cut back on the Thyme...3 tablespoons made the flavor a LITTLE strong.
I recommend this recipe highly, especially if you are in need of something warm and comforting.
