Not as good as it looks. Peppermint was too strong. I kept trying to dilute it with more half & half and even tried adding Baileys instead of Brandy. I was really looking forward to a great holiday cocktail it this wasn't it :(

I did make this and did not like it at all. The Pepermint flavors were too stong. I kept adding half and half to dilute it, then it became too milky to drink. I ended up throwing it away, which I hate waste.

I'm with 86mookie - mckenziefcs, that wasn't a review!! Reviews are meant to help people looking for a recipe... I'm sorry you don't drink, but why did you need to post that as a review? Your negative rating is only going to drag down the rating of an otherwise great drink...and that you can't try it because you don't drink is absolutely irrelevant to the quality of the recipe.

Anyway... onto my review... this is a fun cocktail for the holidays. It's crisp, cool and creamy, and the mint keeps it from being too heavy (which can be a problem with cream-based drinks. I would definitely make it again for a holiday party, as it has a certain "wow" factor in infusing vodka and muddling candy canes, and it is a pretty and festive-looking drink. When I make it again, I will give it a try with the previous' reviewer's suggestion and use eggnog in place of the half and half (see, this is why reviews are helpful...and random commentary on your teetotalling is not.

Hey mckenziefcs, is that your idea of a review? Under-rating something that you haven't tried and do not intend to? What exactly motivated you to do that? You ruin "ratings and reviews" for serious people who , unlike yourself, have a serious mission to find a good recipe. This is a pretty cocktail. I used eggnog instead of half and half (yum and used Godiva liquor instead of the B&B. very good and so festive looking
