I think my grandchildren will love these mashed potatoes as they enjoy carmelized onions already.

We eat a lot of mashed potatoes in our family, and lately I've been adding roasted garlic almost every time ! (I;ve been spending nearly as much on mints and chewing gum as POTATOES! These caramelized onions are a great alternative!
Sweet and luscious, my family loves em.... and they;re so digestible!

Thank you for this brilliantly simple recipe. I love caramelized onions and never thought to put them on mashed potatoes before! Now my family is asking for this every night! This is going on my thanksgiving table for sure.

According to the instructions, there are no rutabagas, breadcrumbs, scallions, lemon zest, or parsley used in the final product. Also, the ingredient list has "Yukon gold potatoes peeled and cubed" and the instructions has"russet potatoes cooked whole".

I have never run into another recipe on this site that was sooooooooo messed up! The title sounds delicious; please repair the ingredient list!

The ingredients include rutabaga and scallions, Onions are not even mentioned. I think that the ingredients are from something else. The instructions for making the Caramalized-onion mashed potatoes seem right. I hope this recipe gets fixed!
