Im such a dope. could not figure out why every one here gave such rave reviews to a recipe that makes dry roast! Then I went back and reread directions. LOL! I cooked it covered when it says uncovered. Gonna try again next week.

My family and I just got done eating this and I have to say it is one of my faves! It was easy to prepare yet it looks so fancy! It was tender and juicy with the right balance of sweet and savory. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family!

I was very happy with this recipe as others have stated. It is really not a hard recipe even for novice cooks, even though it appears very fancy. I do add additional apple cider so that I have lots of sauce. Ted Allen your the BEST!!!!

My mother in law insisted on having pork loin for christmas dinner so I went in search of the perfect receipe. So of course I came to the Foodnetwork.com and typed in pork loin, narrowed it down to roast and this was one of the recipes that popped up. I was looking for a recipe that I already had all the items at home because we were starting to get a huge snow storm and we didn't want to go back to the store. So I decided on this one. It took me a while to get all the prep work done, like cutting the apples and butterflying the meat but it was worth it. My entire house smelled so wonderful while it was cooking. My family walked into the door and asked what that smell was and when I told them it was dinner a huge smile appeared on their face. When I put it on the table everyone was very excited to try it. I must say it was soooo good. Everyone went back for seconds, I even had thirds. I think this is the best piece of pork I've ever had! The pork was so moist and the flavor of the apples with brown sugar and cinnamon cooked throughout the meat. We loved it. I am for sure going to save this recipe and add it to my cookbook because I am making it again. Thanks Ted Allen you made our Christmas dinner very special. So try it, you will love it!

This was one of the best recipies I've ever had for Pork Loin. The meat was tender and juicy and my boys ate it up! I had a few extra apples left over and served them on the side.

I grew up loving pork chops and apple sauce but this takes that recipe to a whole new level. Very easy for any level cook, and tastes fantastic. Definitely recommend this recipe to anyone.
