    My husband and I didn't like this dish. The flavors of the stew just didn't seem right together.

    As I was making this recipe to bring to my community 'potluck,' I realized that I've been making this since 2004, and should have commented MUCH sooner.
    It's a different & lowfat way to enjoy pierogies. And, I always get compliments. I usually serve it with ham steaks. I think the saucy-stew goes really well with them.
