On the show she says to use 1/4 cup of vinegar....Hopefully this will help. I will be making it soon!

I THOUGHT THE SALSA WAS EASY TO MAKE BUT AFTER TASTING IT, I DOCTORED IT UP WITH SOME GARLIC AND LIME.

THE MEAT WAS TENDER BUT HAD THAT VINEGAR TASTE I WASNT TO FOND OF, SO I TOSSED THE CUT UP MEAT WITH SOME SALSA BEFORE I PUT IT ON THE TORTA.

ALL TOGETHER, NOT BAD. I THINK GUY'S GUEST LEFT OUT A FEW SECRET INGREDIENTS. IDK

Perhaps if you used 3/4 ablespoon vinegar rather than 3/4 cup.

I decided to use skirt steak in this recipe, and took care not to marinate it too long (I only marinated it 1.5 hrs per another rater's suggestion. I thought the meat was very flavorful and tasty. I would make it again.

The salsa, however, was another story. It lacked flavor and was very watery despite me not adding as much water as the recipe called for.

My boyfriend and I made this recipe this past weekend after seeing the episode. While the meat does take on a bit of a vinegar taste, it goes amazing with the salsa in this recipe and the sour cream recipe in Guy's Tortilla soup recipe. The recipe was very easy to follow. The salsa is a bit spicy so if you don't like hot salsa I would decrease the number of jalapenos. Overall, it made a fantastic dinner and leftovers.

I have gone to the restaurant in Phoenix and was really looking forward to making this recipe for my husband. I made it Sunday night after watching the show. I marinaded the meat for about 5 hours. It tasted like vinegar, we threw it out, major disapoointment
