    I don't know whether I did something wrong, but although the pork was flavorful, it didn't turn out very tender. It also took a long longer than 1 1/4 hours to cook off all of the water and brown the pork.

    I love carnitas and almost always order it when in a mexican resturent..my boyfriend who is mexican asked me to make it...and let me tell you!!!
    It was even better then what we have had in the resturents..We loved it !
    The reciepe was easy to follow. and the taste was excellent. He said you need to make this more often!!
