First of all, the prep time is more like 40 min, not 2 min. That said, this recipe with half the sugar won a sangria contest at a club gathering by a large margin.

AMAZING!!! I love this drink! Perfect for a hot summer day. I made this for my boyfriend who is not big on champagne or wine and he couldn't get enough!

gets awesome reviews from friends and families everytime! I cut the mint syrup in half because it makes it too sweet even if I use extra dry prosecco/champagne. I have also tried it with raspberries and different fruit juice (pineapple/mango or orange/pineapple. I put my glasses in the freezer with raspberries to freeze them before pouring the drink--adds a special touch! Will be making this more often.

Fantastic flavors...adjust with seltzer or less syrup if too sweet, but great drink!

I made this for memorial day and everyone loved it. My local wine shop was out of Prosecco so I used Asti which is already sweet. I cut the simple syrup to a 1/3. You should definately add the simple syrup in slowly and adjust to your taste.

This is one of my favorite episodes. So fun. The Champagne Sangria is heaven in a glass! Also, I've made it with seltzer instead of alcohol for my nephews, and everyone loved it.

I served this for my mom's birthday party and it was a huge hit! My mom is not a drinker at all and she had two glasses! I played it safe and added only one cup of the mint simple syrup and it was perfectly sweet. The Italian Prosecco was perfect for this! Thanks again, Giada!
