Yummy! Made these for breakfast, and it made 28 little scones. Amongst 7 people, all 28 were eaten and kept safely away with the company of some chamomile tea in our tummies.

Oh. my. gosh. These scones were simply AMAZING! They just burst with flavor. I absolutely LOVED them! Another homerun from Ina!

I loved these scones! Of course, I couldn't leave well enough alone and had to alter the recipe, but this recipe is a great solid base for adding all sorts of yummy things. For the cheese I did half cheddar and half fresh grated parmesan, and instead of all that dill I used half that amount and added some granulated garlic, black pepper, and finely chopped green onions. Fresh, zesty and delicious! Will definitely be making these again, but maybe I'll add some crispy crumbled bacon to the mix!

I just had to come back and share my thoughts. I tried these scones again but this time made them with spring onions and parmesan cheese and they are absolutely delicious!! I like them better than the cheddar-dill version. Now I have 2 great savory scone recipes! Yay!!!

My previous review: These scones are really good. This is my first savory scone recipe and it came out perfect. I could add some more dill the next time. Thanks Ina.

I've never baked or even eaten a scone before, but I had to try it for our neighborhood royal wedding breakfast tomorrow. The smell from the oven was irristable. I had to try one. Incredible. They're so good that I had to take two for the neighbors to try while they were still hot.

This recipe came out perfect. Made a lot of scones. I didn't have fresh dill, but replaced with 1/4 cup of dry and they still came out awesome. These are elegant enough to serve with a fancy dinner in the bread basket or use for small sandwiches for a gathering. Thanks for the recipe Ina!

These were the hit of my tea party. I made half the recipe and did not use an electric mixer - still came out delicious and so moist.
