In preparation for making this recipe, I started by making the sauce ahead of time. I wanted to let the flavors meld for a couple of days before making the Cheyenne Burgers. I just finished making the sauce and it is delicious! I multiplied the recipe 4X so I would have sauce for other BBQ recipes by Bobby.

I'll write another comment after I make the Cheyenne Burgers!

Bobby you are the King - this burger hit a homer with a crowd of burger enthusiasts on my deck in Canmore (next to Banff in the Rockies - ultimate bbq sauce and the crispy onions are a must have on a burger from now on. Awesome 5 stars plus.

My husband said it was the best burger he had ever eaten! The onion rings were the best part to me. It took a little more prep work than I usually spend on burgers, but so worth it!

The best BBQ sauce ever! Made extra to have on hand. Fantastic burger combination ~ will definitely make these again when we have friends over for a cookout.

My family prides itself on "themed" family dinners every 2 months , so for my sister amd I they surprised us and our mates with a Bobby Flay BBQ anniversary party! The Cheyenne burger was a huge hit! Although I love a simple beef burger, this turkey burger was the best i've ever had! The sauce was slamming as well!!!!

I saw Bobby make this on "Grill It", but since the new full schedule website is hard to work with, I couldn't find the show with that recipe. I know he used beef hamburger, so I followed this recipe, but with hamburger. The barbecue sauce is top-notch, so I suggest doubling the recipe and storing what you don't use. This is by far the best way to make onion rings. It is a big, tall sandwich , but I love it.

I saw this burger in the new edition of the FN Mag and I just HAD TO try it! I even made Bobby's BBQ sauce, since I had just about everything on hand. I made a mess! I couldn't get my mouth around it but it was SO GOOD! We'll definitely be making it again!
