My favorite deviled egg recipe! I serve them every year at Easter brunch and my family always raves about them....

This recipe is truly simple and delicious! I needed something quick for some unexpected guests that were arriving. These were such a hit! My brother asked me if we bought then from a deli! : - (I also switched up the recipe just a smidge; I used regular mustard, instead of powdered. Added just a little bit more flavour to it!

The way that this recipe suggests to cook the eggs is terrific! The eggs turn out wonderful, and the yolks are moist. The egg yolks were so moist that I only used half the mayo. TIP: use almost expired eggs to ease the peeling.

I didn't have regular mayonnaise, but I had garlic mayo and Miracle Whip so I used half of both to make up the 1/4 cup of mayo. The result was perfectly simple and delicious. I also didn't have paprika, so instead sprinkled just the tiniest bit of cayenne pepper to add a little color. So comforting and delicious!

Old fashioned deviled egg flavor. Like the other reviewers, these eggs remind of the simple flavors of the deviled eggs when I was a kid. Definitely a keeper!

I followed the exact proportions...this recipe is a keeper! I always have all the ingredients on hand, and I appreciate that there are no fancy add-ons. No need for me to do any further searching on a deviled egg recipe, THIS IS IT! I wouldn't dream of changing a thing. :

I have always depended on others for deviled eggs but now that I am one of the 'older' cooks in the family I am going to need to make my own. This recipe was exactly what I was looking for - no extra or fancy ingredients, just the basics. These will be perfect for Easter tomorrow.
