I marinated the steak for two days and because I was out of lime juice I used lemon juice. The steak was so flavorful and juicy!

This sandwich turned out wonderful but seemed a bit dry. The longer it sat prior to eatting the less dry it seamed. Easy recipe and looks impressive!

This is an absolutely AWESOME recipe that has stayed vivid in my memory since watching it and making it early this summer. I surf Food Network for 5 star recipes, and I sure would have missed this one had I not watched the episode. This recipe is ABSOLUTELY deserving of 5 stars!!! I have never rated a recipe before, but I am now, in an effort to raise this score. Try this and you will NOT be let down! It is truly AWESOME! Not so difficult, extremely flavorful, and so, so worth the time! This area of review should be reserved for honest appraisals of the recipes - not for delivering sour montages about FN marketing and so forth. I certainly enjoyed watching this new and unfamiliar face deliver. I thought she did a great job, and I'm really quite disappointed I haven't seen her since!

This was such an easy dish to make and the flavors were wonderful. Make sure you get a really good bread to go with it. I will be keeping this recipe to make again and again.

Maybe you should actually try this recipe - it was so delicious! I mean, isn't that what these reviews are for - to rate the recipe?

Anyways, I've never made anything like this, and decided to make it for company, and was a little nervous about it. The marinade was delicious, and the whole sandwich was just incredible. It was easy to make, and came out perfectly. I'll definitely be making this again and again.

I'm not sure why so many people feel like commenting on the TV show on a specific recipe, because if you make the recipe, it's pretty darn good.

Now I admit Mary Nolan isn't my favorite Food Network show to watch, but she is getting better each episode I watch and calming down.

And honestly her food is pretty good if you try it.

If you don't like the show, write the producers, it's not fair to rate the food low when it's good.

I have lived in miami for 10 years and have fallen in love with the cuban culture and food. I thought this recipe was a quick and easy way to taste a delicious cuban specialty.

This was so delicious!! You don't have to use the steak to make a sandwich with either. I just served the steak thinly sliced with the cooked onions. So good!!
