I didn't watch the show but I have planned to. I agree with one of the other comments. What is wrong with Amy Finley. She had great food and great ratings. I do not understand why FN does not give her a chance. She won. I do not even want to watch foodnet work star because there is no point if you are not going to keep the winners. I have e-mailed FN several times and never get any answers back on Amy. I also would like to see Giada with another cooking show besides Everyday Italian.

FN marketing is way off. They put people through the grinder for a show called "the next food network star" (which so far out of three seasons, I only see one season still running - and unfortunately it was my least favorite, the other two I really liked and voted for! and then they let people like this (and ingrid have their own show. Even when the ratings for their recipes are low and in general you can just tell they don't cook well, they still keep these people on! I don't get it. I'm loosing interest in the FN for that and other reasons. But I guess FN is making too much money already to care, how sad. Hmmm, wonder if they'll post this?

I really am trying to give this new show a chance, but this third episode was even worse than the first. The recipes are either uninspired, boring old things we've seen a million times on FN, or strange creations like this sandwich. The host is horrendous, from her long swinging hair, to her cross contaminating like crazy, her mile a minute speaking without coming up for air, to her arm waving with hands in an unattractive and odd claw like position. Seriously, dos FN even test these people out first? Please let there only be six episodes!
