This was a huge hit with my family and company. It has gone into my save and do again recipe file. Thanks Sunny for making my cooking experience a success.

I decided to prepare these for a Mexican food dinner party after seeing how easy they seemed. They were as easy as Sunny made them look. The one thing that I would suggest is to roll them tight, because ounce they hit the oil they expand slightly and you may loose a little of your filling. The taste was great! I removed the jalapenos seeds in fear of the heat since the recipe called for cayan pepper. I think I could have left them in and been okay. The flavor was great! The flautas were light, and crispy, yet soft to the bite. The avocado sour cream dip was very tasty and a great compliment to the flautas. Great recipe... the flautas were a HUGE hit at my dinner party and everyone wanted the recipe. Thanks Sunny. Keep 'em coming!

these were good and i'm glad i tried them but they needed more flavor. Maybe my salsa was too mild. Next time i will spice it up some more . Corn tortillas are good too and turn out very crispy.

These were absolutely awesome. The filling was great and I used some for a filling for tacos the next day. This is definitely a keeper! I didn't use the avocado cream, I just made my version of guacamole which was fantastic on the side. Also don't forget to try the corn pudding, it too is awesome.

I watched Sunny make it and I got inspired. I used mild salsa and I added a little more cayenne pepper. This was so yummy!

I made this and it turned out really good. I didn't do the avocado cream b/c the avocado I bought wasn't ripe enough. I just served it with some sour cream on the side. My husband really enjoyed it. Did anyone else have trouble with the tortillas? They weren't as flexible for rolling as they appeared on the show. I had to heat them in the oven like the packaging said to soften them up.

Tried this recipe this weekend and loved it. Disregard the "Not mexican food comment" I am Mexican as well and have been to Mexico, The food in Mexico is traditional and one of a kind, very few places in the states make really good authentic food. I saw this as a different take on the Flauta through her favorite flavors. I made homemade wheat tortillas and added spinach and black beans to the mixture and some queso fresco. after wrapping the flautas I cut off the edges to give a straight end, helped with the mixture falling out the sides.

Avocado sauce was great added some fresh pico de gallo.
Can't wait to make it again and something else, maybe some chipolte!
    Good luck! Great recipe!

These are so tasty. Since there are only 2 of us, I reserved half of the meat mixture to fry up some more of these for another meal. I did not use the avocado cream (not an avocado fan, but served them up with some sour cream, which was yummy. Will be making these again! I served them with a black bean and corn salad, and tortilla chips with salsa.
