I agreed with adding a little flour to thicken the filling. This was an easy and healthy chicken pot pie-much better than using canned vegetables. It was a chilly weekday night when I made this and it really hit the spot.

This recipe was good but I made a two crust pie. I just put a crust on the bottom of the baking dish and then filled it and topped it with the second crust. Turned out just fine.

I've made this recipe twice. It needed to be a little thicker so I added an extra potato and an extra tablespoon of flour.
I used a 13x9 casserole pan and added some extra chicken, peas and carrots.
It's a delicious easy recipe that received rave reviews from my guests.

I've been searching for a good, easy pot pie recipe and this is the one! The only complaint I would have is it needs a little more gravy.

Before making this I read the reveiws and found that most people thought the filling was a little thin. I used 2 parts chicken broth (from cubes and 1 part cream of chicken soup with herbs and was really happy with the result. I'm not a big onion fan so I used yellow onion rather then white which gave this dish a nice mellow hint of sweetness that eveyone really liked. I fed this to three grown men who kept going back for more. I highly recommend this one! Word of warning I think it says it takes a total of 40 minutes and instead it took about an hour and half from start to finish (although I did double the recipe resulting in two pies.

Didn't change a thing except that I had no peas so I threw in some green beans. I agree that the "sauce" was a little thin so I added a little cornstarch (about 2 T and it came out great.

I am a beginner cook and in college and let me just say that this recipe is so easy, a little time consuming with cutting vegtables, but it is totally worth it! Very very delicious, one of my new favorite things to cook!!
