Made this for the first time tonight. My husband and I *love* it. The roasted nuts add that perfect touch. I did add the juice of two lemons because we like our chicken salad a bit tangy. Gorgeous! This will be in heavy rotation at gatherings this summer.

I followed the recipe to the "T" but I thought it called for too much salt. I could taste the saltiness in every bite. I would probably make this again but use half the salt.

This is terrific! I used the exact amount of salt she lists in the recipe. It is so great that she lists the quantity of salt instead of "salt to taste"! Too little salt and a dish is not flavorful enough. I do know some people are more sensitive than others to salt, her dishes are rarely too salty for most people I serve and I entertain a lot. One thing to remember, there is salt in a lot of prepared products - canned chicken broth, rotisserie chicken, for instance, so you need to cut back if you use them.

I have made this recipe 3 or 4 times now. It is one of the best things I have ever eaten! I made this for a party too and put the chicken salad on slider rolls, what a hit!

It was ok. I wasn't real crazy about the sour cream in the mix. And next time I'd leave out the walnuts. The grapes were really wonderful though.

My all time Fav chicken salad. Thank you Ina. My mom made hers (almost exactly like this. But, she added diced celery & used only pecans. Since we moved from MI to SC, I have not used a walnut in any recipe. I make "her" chicken salad, now. There is something about this mix of flavors that keeps me visiting the frig for leftovers. It was always a special lunch when mom & I sat down for this chicken salad on a bed of lettuce.

My husband loved this! He said it was his second favorite dish next to a lasagna from a local restaurant. I followed the recipe exactly, and it turn out great. Thanks Ina.
