    I don't particularly like asparagus but this was spectacular. The dressing is so clean and sparkling with the lemons and spice mixture. You have to try it. A wonderful surprise and went so well with the chicken with the olive tapenade and lemon butter made it my favorite. The only way you can top this whole dish is to make her olive oil cake. Yummm the elegant way.

    I served this salad on Father's Day with the Roasted Chicken and it was a great compliment to the meal. It was easy to make, delicious, and I loved that I could make it ahead of time and just toss it together once ready to serve. I will definitely make this again.

    I am becoming a huge fan Alex Guarnaschelli fan. I made this salad as a side for Sunday supper. Putting the asparagus in an ice bath before cooking and adding sugar to the water, made a big difference in the taste and texture of the asparagus.

    I made the asparagus as described but decided to add some chopped red onion, French feta cheese and a strawberry sliced fan shaped. The strawberry, onion and feta added a nice new dimension to the salad.
